For 12 years, Trawen - “Meeting Place” in the local Mapuche language, has been the place to discover healthy food, created with love and the best ingredients. A pioneer of organic food provision in southern Chile, Trawen is renowned for its innovative dishes incorporating pure ingredients such as wheat flours and seeds, unrefined and chemical free and, of course, the love and dedication of our kitchen team.

BREAKFAST
From the minute our doors open we offer the best food to start your day with. Trawen breakfasts include fresh fruit, country eggs, local sausages, homemade yogurt and granola, regional honey and delicious French toast. We also offer an exquisite variety of wheat breads such as rye, linseed and oat. All this, accompanied by our prestigious Italian Illy coffee.

LUNCH/DINNER
For lunch the gastronomy adventure continues with Premium meats from local producers, such as venison or beef steak. The range of possibilities include fish such as local Rainbow trout, fresh or smoked salmon and tuna ceviche. Designed to suit all tastes, we also offer homemade pastas and risottos. Why not try our raviolis stuffed with krill, Roquefort cheese and salmon, chickpea and goats cheese gnoquis or our octopus, shrimp and squid risotto.
All dishes are complemented with fresh vegetables and salads from our own vegetable garden.

ANYTIME
Our café is a refuge from cold Winter afternoons, with Belgian hot chocolate, homemade biscuits, cakes and pastries. For the warm days our natural juices, flavored syrups and locally produced ice creams are the perfect choice.
And for any day, time, or weather, our spectacular pizzas, empanadas and sandwiches offer you fresh ingredients with that special Trawen touch.

TRAWEN ORGANIC

The mission of Trawen is to serve healthy food in unique dishes designed to delight out guests. We place particular emphasis on incorporating a high percentage of organic produce in our menu. We are proud to assure our produce is truly organic as it is cultivated in our own vegetable garden which will soon receive organic certification, the first in the region.

We work with permaculture techniques, recycling all our leftovers and increasing our reliance on renewable energies, especially solar, as our main supply sources [link to http://www.accionsustentable.cl/?p=868]. In addition, we choose local produce wherever possible, taking full advantage of the different raw materials that our region offers us each season of the year.

OUR STORY

Trawen has a 12 year history. Visitors from the world over have tasted our food or have simply stopped by to enjoy one of our great coffees.

TRAWEN GROUPS For groups we offer our second floor exclusively for you, guaranteeing personalized service. For a maximum of 30 people there is space for image and audio projections too.

TRAWEN EVENTS

Just 10 km from Pucón, towards Caburga and only 200 metres from the Trancura River we offer catering for weddings and all types of events at Pasco Pucón- With space for up to 200 people we have various options such as outdoor barbecues, meat feasts and anything you can think of to guarantee an unforgettable event.
